My blog, and welcome to it.

It seems that in the course of my 'Netwanderings, I've contracted a blog. Probably the result of that website I worked up, www.877lithium.com. I can't imagine any other reason I'd want one of these, other than I thought it would look cool on my bookshelf.

Works like a journal or a diary, right? I just throw random thoughts and occurrences out there, for whoever's interested. Well, I can do that. I think. I'm not even sure why I created the website, other than it seemed like a good idea at the time. Yes, I get bored that easily.

If you're reading this, it's almost certainly because you know me, probably got here via that site; so you can treat this as an up-to-the-minute day-in-the-life-of kind of running commentary. Also provides a forum for feedback--which I am apparently in constant need of.

If you don't know me, you're not missing much.

So here's what's in the works for 877lithium.com, as subpages:

  • A fuller profile page of me, so you get a better look at who's wasting your time.
  • A Bachelor Living page, replete with tips on cooking, household upkeep, books and movies of interest, my CD collection, good bachelor stories...that sort of thing....
  • A Seattle guide book: points of interest, choice restaurants, drinking establishments, good spots for used books and CDs, etc.
  • Some film reviews, and essays on cinema.
  • A better and more detailed listing of webpages of people I know.
  • A weekly trivia quiz.
  • And, eventually, a series of essays on the importance of evolutionary theory and Darwin's concept of selection.

Also, my friend Robert will be modifying the artwork for the site, as his schedule permits.

Enough for now. Let's see how this whole reading-from-bottom-to-top thing works out.
